Just have bagged garbage? Use our bag-drop bin at the Salt Spring Island transfer station, 360 Blackburn Rd, and skip the scale. $7 per bag, maximum 2 bags, no scale fee.
How does the bag drop work?
- Bagged household garbage only. Up to 2 bags.
- $7 per bag, with no scale fee.
- The bag-drop bin is before the scale, so you don't go across it.
- Three or more bags go over the scale: the $13 scale fee plus $0.41/kg.
